Announcing Our First Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest:

Categories:

Children (up to 18 years of age)

Adult (18 years and older)

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each category.

Judging Criteria:

· Creativity, Originality, and Uniqueness

· Intricacy and Complexity

· Elegance and Style

Contest Guidelines:

· Register entries at the Dickinson Museum Center by noon on Saturday.

· Pumpkins must be carved before arriving at the museum.

· Individuals can enter more than one pumpkin.

· Winners will be announced at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.

· Contestants need not be present to win.

· Pumpkins may be reclaimed after 5:00 pm. on Saturday.

· No purchase necessary, no admission or participation fees charged.

· The Dickinson Museum Center reserves the right to use contestants’ names and photos of entries for promotional purposes.

· Museum Center staff, board members, and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter the contest.

· Museum Center staff reserve the right to decline entry to any images or subject matter they deem offensive.
